Turquoise Strata Bowl

This fused glass bowl maximizes the innate nature of glass to attain a delicate, gradated shading and veining, with accents of coral and olive. The top layer is made up of many individual transparent pieces of colored glass, which are carefully cut to fit. It is fused to a translucent off-white base, which shows off the blues and greens, creating both depth and reflection. The use of frit allows Latimer to achieve the finishing detail and nuance. This bowl is designed to be both decorative and functional. Hand wash. Food safe. Not oven safe.
