Bubbly Swirl

This striking paperweight is created from glass at a starting temperature of 2000 degrees F. The glass is gathered on a blow pipe, and color is added in multiple layers. Its elegant form is shaped and blown gradually, manipulated to perfection by hand using folded wet newspaper and specialized metal tools.
