Gold & Crimson Fall Mountain Overlook

This glass sculpture is composed of multi-layers of kiln-fired glass, featuring two layers of a changing Fall landscape in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Layers are created separately, fired, stacked, and cast into a singular block of glass, coldworked, and then slump mold over a form that gives it an outward curve. This curve enhances the feeling of a changing landscape. Signed in lower left color. Please expect some variation due to the handmade nature of the work.
