The Warrior

This dramatic red-and-black tabletop sculptural panel features strips of hand-cut glass fused together to create a bold, highly textured sculpture inspired by the artist's world travels. The wood base is made by Craig Demmon from environmentally friendly beetle-kill pine, with fissures in the wood filled with colored resin; decorative and structural wood bow ties are placed along the fissures to hold them in place. The glass has been sandblasted and sealed, and its steel frame has a blue-gray patina finish that coordinates beautifully with the glass. A one-of-a-kind work signed by the artist.
