Mozayny Polya (Mosaic Fields Series) Perenial Parchment Vessel

Large hand-blown sculptural art glass vessel and fitted glass stopper with hot-sculpted branch lid. Sculptural vessel series inspired by the changing seasons of Eastern Europe and interpreted in the style of Modernism. A mottled background canvas of windswept pale parchment is contrasted by calligraphic branch-like lines accented with dappled spots of wildflower blooms.

After the vessel has cooled, the artist creates separately a hand-sculpted glass lid custom fit to the unique vessel, with a matching painterly color scheme and design motif. Satin-matte finished vessel form is completed with a black lipwrap on the top and a sturdy matte black solid glass base for balance.
