Red Simple Vase

Inspired by clean lines and the paintings of Klimt and Monet, this vase is created using a combination of glassblowing and cold-working techniques. The artist first layers crimson, scarlet, and maroon red glass frit over a core of translucent clear and white glass, then sandblasts the surface to achieve a matte finish. The vase is finished with a black lip accent. Each piece is unique and will vary.
