Sunflowers are hardy plants known for surviving tough conditions; artist Anne Nye captures their strength and beauty in this art glass wall sculpture, crafted in her signature "watercolor" technique, wherein frit is manipulated on a sheet of white glass then kiln-fired to a matte finish, reducing glare and leaving the piece with a softly textured surface. Mounted on an aluminum panel and signed on the back.
