Dried Globe Thistle

A globe thistle is a low plant resembling a gladiola or an iris, but it sends up a single stalk about four feet tall, topped by a globe shaped flower; this flower is actually about 100 tiny blossoms, which eventually bear one seed each. Each photograph in this limited edition series is printed with an Epson professional printer using archival pigment inks on Epson Velvet Fine Art paper which is 100% rag and PH neutral. Each print is titled, signed, and numbered in pencil. These images were made in August 2023 and this series was awarded an International Photography Award. Ships unframed, not ready to hang.
