Bronze Dory and Bateau

Each bronze boat is sand cast from the artist's welded bronze original and is hand sanded and oxidized with a hot process patina in the artist's studio. Anchor is a patinaed copper tube filled with cement and attached with a copper chain and lobster claw. Patina colors and anchors may vary slightly. Each piece comes with the artist's statement card. These boats are the artist's sculptural antidote to all things with parallel lines and right angles. The shape provides stillness and calm.
