A hand-cast set of 3 bronze sculptures on green marble bases depicting the three muses, known in ancient Greek religion and mythology as inspirational goddesses of literature, science, and the arts.
Created using the lost wax process, the individually made pieces are first sculpted in plaster, and a wax mold is made. At the bronze foundry, the pieces are repeatedly dipped in ceramic to form a heat-resistant shell into which the liquid bronze is poured.
After being removed from the mold, the bronze is smoothed, sandblasted, and etched with vertical lines before being finished with a unique golden brown patina and coated with wax.

Care
Wax yearly with Trewax to enhance the color. Avoid contact with alcohol, which will damage the patina.
