Falling Leaves

Splashed with bold color and impressed with abstract leaf designs, this contemporary basket is hand-built from slabs of stoneware clay. The basket is glazed with a vivid orange matte glaze and rubbed with an oxide stain before the final firing.

Dyed and hand-tied rattan handle. Unglazed feet and base. The inside is fully glazed, and this piece may be used as a vase.
