Poppy Basket

This graceful vivid orange basket will add a bright touch to any room. Made of stoneware slabs, each side is impressed with a calm linear design and a rectangular stenciled black and white floral accent. Dark oxides are rubbed on to the impressed surfaces before the final firing. The basket bottom and rounded feet are unglazed. The basket has a narrow footprint and fits easily on a shelf or mantel. The inside is glazed, and this piece may be used as a vase.
