This lovely ceramic birdhouse is wheel-thrown and hand-built, then trimmed and adorned with organic elements; ventilation holes are drilled and the piece is set to dry. Finally, it's kiln-fired and then glazed with a metallic bronze, cold patina, resulting in its pleasing verdigris finish.

Each has a removeable, wheel-thrown bottom finial that can be removed for ease of interior cleaning—the finial locks into place with a twist via tabs that line up with slots on the base of the birdhouse.
