Celadon Blue Carved Mug

Hand-built from light stoneware clay, this slab-formed mug was expertly cut to size, stamped with its eye-catching texture, and shaped into its cylindrical form. After the addition of its handle, it was glazed in blue Celadon before being fired in a reduction fire atmosphere, resulting in sleek, artful colors.
