Ceramic Sculpture
Created by
Ryan Whaley
This one of a series of small batch, hand-thrown and pit-fired ceramics enters the kiln white: its striking exterior is the resulting of burnishing from colorants fired along with the work, including potassium, iron, calcium, and nitrogen. A truly one-of-a-kind sculpture, it's closed at the top and is meant for display.
