One World, Same Boat II on Stand
Ceramic Sculpture

Celebrate the bond and the knowledge we are more alike than different. In these uncertain times it's nice to know we all can relate to one another and be a part of a support system. This boat with three removable figures is slab built of stoneware clay. Each of the components are made separately and then combined. The surface is smoothed, textured, then slip is applied. After the first firing, artist-made glaze is applied and then selectively wiped away to create a worn look. The boat is affixed to a metal stand. Each is made individually and may vary. May be ordered with or without inscription reading "one world same boat."
