Quiet Pool, Tribute Series

This ceramic sculpture is made from forms thrown on the potter’s wheel, altered extruded clay tubes, and a slab-built base. Fabricated in earthenware clay, it was finished with a black copper glaze sprayed over the entire piece and then wiped off in selected areas, then coated with a turquoise copper glaze. The fluid lines and flowing turquoise glaze are like a running stream.
