Snow on the Beach, Sound

This series of ceramic horse sculptures is inspired by the appearance of windblown snow on the dunes of Lake Michigan. Following the first firing, the surface is sprayed with a white slip and once dry, the slip is scoured on the edges and planes to reveal the color of the earthenware clay beneath. Available in multiple gestures, each evoking a different feeling.
