Elegant Birch Vase

This ceramic vase is a continuation of Lenore Lampi's exploration of the beauty of birch bark, with furls reminiscent of peeling bark extending off the body of the vessel for a distinctive sculptural statement. Its richly-detailed exterior hosts stain and porcelain terra sigillata, while its interior boasts three layers of glaze.
