Lady Bug's Journey

A bright red ladybug makes her way toward the blue and violet flowers that ring this wheel-thrown porcelain vase. The flowers are drawn and cut from a very thin sheet of clay and individually adhered to the piece before firing. Glazes are carefully color-blended and applied in layers, and the background is a pale translucent aqua.
