Modest Southwest Red Notched Vessel
Ceramic Vase
Created by
Daniel Bennett
This mid-scale stoneware vase is wheel thrown with the indentation of texture. These "dimples" add character along with the glazing choices. Each handmade item is then bisque fired, stained, glazed, then refired to 2400 degrees to achieve the finished artform. The glazes used on this vessel are a brown rustic glaze on bottom with a sheen red on top. Your vase may vary slightly in coloring from the item that is pictured. All sizes are approximate. Each piece is signed on the bottom.
