Sunflower Cat Vase

Wonderfully whimsical and functional too, this clay vase is a combination of hand-built and wheel-thrown forms. The surface is decorated with layers of stain, engobes, slip, underglaze, and glaze, which create stunning depth of color and texture. Additions of wire and found objects add expressive elements to the sculpture. Each piece is unique and will vary.
