Fire Gourd Vase

Part of a series of saggar-fired inspired by Iron and Bronze age discoveries as seen in museums and anthropological publications, this wheel-thrown vessel boasts an ancient aesthetic, with its inscribed neck bands, burnished surface, and terra sigillata. Its body was lightly sanded and is protected by a layer of lightly-buffed Carnauba wax.
