Dog On Boat in Clouds

This wall sculpture takes a happy dog on a journey as the boat glides over surging waves and puffy clouds. Hand built from slabs of stoneware clay; the surface has the weathered look of a found object. The carved waves are first painted with slips and the surface dimension is achieved by applying a semi-matte glaze and then wiping the highlights. Each piece is unique and will vary.
