Primitive Fables, Set I

These porcelain wall sculptures are bursting with texture and energy, depicting a mix of fantastical creatures born out of fables, children's stories, and the artist's imagination, as well as a mix of vibrant flora and fauna.

Each is colored using hand-rubbed oil pigments, embellished with bright glass beads, and coated with a transparent, protective clear coat. The work is layered with a spacer panel lifting its pine base from the wall, creating a three-dimensional floating effect.
