Spirit Stick Wall Sculptures

These fascinating vertical forms reference different historical ritual objects studied by artist Vicki Grant; her work has inspired her to create these sticks reminiscent of Aboriginal digeridoos, rain sticks (first developed by the Mapuche tribe), and African Nguni sticks (also known as Zulu fighting sticks). Each is filled with a bundle of cape reeds, a traditional building and crafting material. Splendid and powerful as a set, they are also available individually. Ready to hang.
