While in California at the Merced River, photographer Charlotte Gibb was struck by the low water levels brought on a recent drought. She took the opportunity to be able to study this normally raging river and captured her experience in this mesmerizing photograph. River rocks are visible below a reflection of grand Ponderosa Pines across the bank. Ships rolled in a protective tube; unframed.
