This digitally painted tapestry, "Singing over shrubs and vines..." combines garden flowers, decorative cabbages, and kale with bending branches of eucalyptus. Patterns are created from the repetition of arching stems and subtle pool reflections. Fireworks burst as if announcing the brilliant opening of flowers. The tapestry has mirroring elements but is also improvisational. "Singing over shrubs and vines..." is from a poem entitled, "The Humble-Bee," by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
