Nature and technology combine to stunning effect on this colorful textile wall hanging inspired by Arisaema triphyllum, also known as "Jack in the pulpit."
Working with archival specimens from the University of Wisconsin - Madison Herbarium, the artist digitally alters her photographs using self-designed patterns.
A large-format inkjet printer is used to transfer the design onto organic cotton, and the textile is machine quilted, giving the final work rich texture and depth. Ready to hang with provided Velcro panels.
