Practice

The practice of bringing one's awareness back to the present moment, whenever the mind wants to think about what happened yesterday, or what to do tomorrow, is the consciousness of centering in the NOW. The practicing artist expresses the visions in her head by bringing them to present reality in her art. This fiber wall art begins with a drawing, which is then printed onto fabric, machine quilted with thread, and is embellished with buttons, jewels and small painted panels, which are painted with acrylic paint.
