Queen Victoria's Birdwing

This art is a new series the artist has been creating. It is inspired from his youth growing up in the tropics of South America. He saw butterflies daily in their natural habitat in all their splendor. Ornithoptera victoriae, the Queen Victoria's birdwing, is a birdwing butterfly of the family Papilionidae, found in the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.
