Created by
Tim Forcade
Created by Tim Forcade from a composite of 21 overlapping photographs of a still life set in his studio. He used a compound camera he assembled that works much like a precision view camera joined with a high-resolution digital camera. The fact that the camera body moves independently of the lens makes this compositing process possible. Forcade used the composite as a starting point in subsequent steps that involved composition, collage, and painting techniques. The result is an an extremely detailed photograph of the studio still life.
