Spring Equinox

This original mixed-media painting is created from layers of acrylic paint, emulsions and ink. Slivers of tape, found patterned papers, mesh, and thread create textural excitement. The use of rapid brushwork, drawing and collage techniques add dynamic movement and energy to this abstract landscape. The sides of the gallery wrapped canvas are painted a rich gray. Signed on the back the artwork is ready to hang.
