Three Levels

This mixed-media painting is created from layers of acrylic paints, emulsions, chalk, and graphite. Found objects, including mesh, torn patterned papers, and dried grasses, add textural excitement. Areas of impasto painting and scratching techniques amplify the energetic mood. An acid-free archival coating protects the surface and produces a subtle sheen. The sides are painted a rich gray. Signed on the back, the painting is ready to hang.
