This mixed-media painting is created from layers of acrylic paint, emulsions, and chalk. Bits of collaged tape, found symbols, string, straw, and sand create textural excitement. Swirling marks, scratching, and smearing create movement and energy. An acid-free archival coating protects the surface and produces a subtle sheen. The sides are painted a rich gray. Signed on the back, the painting is ready to hang.
