Daffodils Emerging

The artist's Burst series always stems from nature. Schwartz is an avid gardener and many of these paintings are created from watching her flowers bloom. She was in her garden in early spring, watching the daffodils begin to emerge and bloom. Their shapes are so sculptural, she had to paint what she saw. On gallery-wrapped canvas with painted sides.
