Splintered

This oil-and-cold wax mixed media work on panel board was born out of the artist's desire to create a complex surface that incorporates multiple layers of color, contrast, shape, and physical texture. The use of various tools such as brayers, palette knives and scrapers combined adds to this artwork's unique character. Framed in a hardwood float frame, it's signed on the front and wired to hang.
