Cherry Shaker Candle Stand

This graceful table features classic Shaker design, with a dramatic figured cherry top. A reproduction of a table built in the New Lebanon Shaker Community in the early 19th century and now housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, this nearly 200-year-old design feels contemporary. The pedestal is mortised and wedged into the batten under the top, while the elegantly curved feet are dovetailed into the pedestal.
