Eucalyptus Scarf/Shawl

Gray silk chiffon is graced with a velvet pattern of eucalyptus leaves in shimmering colors—with a contrasting border. Devorè, sometimes referred to as burnout velvet, is made from solid velvet that is stenciled with a paste that removes some rayon pile and leaves the silk backing intact. Patterns are then hand-painted, creating an iridescent array of tones. Rolled and sewn edges.
