Autumn Seed Earrings

As summer retreats to fall, and the fruits of the season bear witness to the covenant of the coming spring, these vivid lightweight earrings capture the warmth of an autumnal garden. Illuminated with colorful spots and contrasting stripes, each blossom pod is carefully built with layers of polymer clay, hand formed over an original mold. The surfaces and patterns are the actual color of the clay, carefully applied and cured in 10-12 individual stages.

The results are lightweight hollow sculptural forms, that make a colorful statement when suspended on sterling silver ear wires. Each pair made by this artist features a hand carved and backfilled signature block on the back, ensuring that each pair is uniquely yours.
