Immigration Pier No. 20

In Philadelphia, the original pier where nearly a million immigrants landed is in complete disrepair. The artist was attracted by the history and the desolation caused by passing time. This led him to do a series of 28 paintings attempting to record the physical decay and the emotion it stimulated. The work comes mounted suitably for immediate framing which is necessary for the protection of watercolors. Ships flat.
