Twilight Time

This tranquil painting of trees at twilight begins with the artist’s use of transparent watercolor on saturated archival paper to create the subtle wash of color that forms the background. Once dry, Brown begins layering color and graphite pencil drawings to complement the design and create a work with the subtle hues and strong design sensibility she is known for.
