Spalted Maple Candelabra

Artist Jerry Davis is always on the lookout for the perfect wood to use in his creations; he has been saving a particular piece of spalted maple wood for just the right project, sanding, oiling, and waxing it "just in case." He eventually found its companion in a candleholder he had crafted 50 years ago; removing the original base, Davis replaced it with his maple wood piece. The steel stems were cleaned and treated with a solution to give them a deep blue/black finish. Candles not included.
