Asa-no-ha Coffee Table

This masterfully-crafted cherry coffee table features the Japanese asa-no-ha kumiko pattern, also known as the hemp leaf. The kumiko consists of individual pieces of basswood, hand-cut with a chisel, and assembled to form the beautiful geometric pattern; there is also a glass insert above the kumiko. This beautiful coffee table is finished with hand-rubbed oil varnish and wax.
