Little Hog in Deep Red

Hogfish inhabit reefs and prefer to snack on coral. This contemporary interpretation features a deep transparent red that allows a hint of the wood grain to show through while the inlaid stripe is opaque blue. Brushed aluminum fins and bone pickup the light and complement the colors. Each piece in this series has the same body but not the same delineation of color, each is unique. The body is soft maple, a sustainable hardwood harvested in the USA. The transparent colors are blended in a resin that is totally VOC free.
