Wood Mosaic Vessel with Teak Top

Over 30 domestic and exotic woods are set with epoxy in this unique vessel. The vivid hues of turquoise, malachite, pink coral and blue lapis are embedded in the vessel to contrast with the wood tones. The work is finished with a catalyzed hard wax. The artist creates a mold of the original piece that he uses for each recurring piece. Each vessel will have the same size and shape, but the pattern of inlaid wood will differ.
