Crane Dance
Wood Wall Sculpture
Created by
Aaron Laux
While watching a group of sandhill cranes grazing near a lake, artist Aaron Laux noticed the colors and quality of the feathers; this experience guided his creative process. This work pays homage to the local ecology that supports many migratory birds throughout Wisconsin. This diptych is made from wood, birch bark, alabaster stone, aluminum and glass. Each half can stand alone, or be paired as in the photo. Available individually or sold together.
