Part of a series that uses a combination of wood, paper, and metal, this texture-rich wall sculpture incorporates each element in unexpected ways.

Rice paper is folded and shaped to create the pleated spiral forms, birch bark lightly washed with acrylic paint brings a mosaic effect, and slender ribbons of aluminum create subtle borders within the sculpted walnut frame.

May be hung vertically or horizontally.
