Rosario Garcia

Rosario Garcia

"Nature and everything that has been created have dimension and movement within, those movements flow in my work with an strong influence, in different shapes and patterns without symmetry, but always with a pleasant harmony."

Rosario Garcia has been attracted towards metal work since very young, always loving the many shapes and colors of metal and the different colors and properties of the minerals and natural gems.

Garcia designs and creates each piece individually, with no commercial mold used in the process. The work is fabricated byhand-forging, soldering, and hand- engraving, and created using different karats of gold and fine silver (pure silver) combined with natural stones.

Rosario Garcia started her career in 1988. Her work is a continuation of a family tradition. In 1990, she became member of the most important artist association in her country , Cuba ( ACAA). She came to the U.S.A. in 1994 and started to show her work in art festivals and galleries and to teach classes of design and jewelry at the Broward Christian High School in Sunrise Florida.
