Pearl

This painting began with loose spontaneous drawing. Acrylic paints were then thinly applied and eventually the image of a pearl, a sphere, a droplet, the earth emerged. As this image became defined so did the ground supporting it. Fleshy pinks also bring to mind the human body - integrated with the earth and the heavens. Acrylic on paper.
